WJIB is dedicated to delivering you memories. It is not an “oldies” station.

Our broad musical range and variety is unique and special, not found on any Boston radio station or internet stream. You will generally hear a blnd of music from the 50s through the 1980s, with some familiar surprises from the 1940s and 1990s.   For enhancement we air live telephone requests from our community of listeners recalling their special songs, while relating their personal stories sharing why their special memory song reflects an important place in their lives. Though we will play almost any “memories” song requested, we do stay mostly within the rails of “soft and easy” music, with occasional well-loved  upbeat favorites.

We have an active Facebook group, now over 1,000 members and invite you to join “WJIB Friends and Lovers”. It’s a wonderful place to interact and share with others in our WJIB community and it’s free. You will be admitted within a day or two.
