Music relights memories! As Boston’s “Memory Channel,” WJIB welcomes you to call in your special memory song and share the story about why the song is special to you! Our library of over 20,000 songs goes back from the 1930s to the 90s, and there are thousands of songs which bring back millions of memories.  

Recall your special romance song with someone, a song your gang always cranked up and sang along to, a memory of a special person, place, or someone you lost, we want to play that song for you and hear your special reason for requesting it.

How to do it?  Simple!  

Just call in on our special request recording line: 617-720-WJIB (9542).

When the machine answers:

Say your name, where you’re calling from, the name of your song, and then your story!  

Requests air within a day or two, and play twice, once in the morning and again in the afternoon.  We look forward to hearing from you!
